It seemed super appropriate that the first official blog post be about poop. If you've ever been a mama with TWO (or possibly more... omg awful) kids in diapers, you've probably felt like you were elbow deep in poop, most of the day...
Swayzee is just the sweetest little baby and as a newborn, her job is to eat, sleep, and poop. She doesn't do much else yet except for crazy amounts of sneezing yesterday (I told JJ we need to rename her Sneezy), and occasional farts and hiccups. So how does this little miss show her personality [& similarity to her sister] at such a tiny sweet age?
Swayzee ABSOLUTELY REFUSES to poop in a dirty [wet] diaper. EVERY single time I change this kid, she poops in her clean diaper. This is not something you want to happen at 3AM when you're finally comfortable in your pillow bed on the couch [c-sections suck], baby is fed, changed, happy, and poops... Little stinker. One thing I do love about her little poops is her insanely loud grunting. She literally sounds like a grown man grunting and making faces trying to poop [no she's not constipated]. Seeing and hearing this adorable little kid making that thing I hate so much makes it worth changing the dirty diaper.
As for Saige, she runs up to me 3-4 times a day, "Mama I poo, poo. I stinky, peeewww." Dear little Saige, you're supposed to tell Mommy BEFORE you poop so we can run to the toilet! I really need to work on getting this kid potty trained...
Until then, 1 package of wipes a day, 15-20 diapers, and lots of grunts, funny faces, farts, and poops fill our home with love. <3
